YCAID - (non) Academic blog

Youth Canadian Association for International Development

About

Founded in 2014, the Youth Canadian Association for International Development (YCAID) is mainly an academic association and blog. Its goal is to further the sharing of knowledge, expertise and advice among young scholars and young practitioners of international development. It rallies the profiles of development studies graduate students and undergraduate students from all around Canada. All members of YCAID share ideals of human development, empowerment of the marginalized and inclusion of local civil societies in the elaboration of development program. The YCAID blog offers a platform to make development studies more accessible for the public. It seeks to simplify and popularize development research and topics of actuality for a non-academic audience.
