YCAID - (non) Academic blog

Youth Canadian Association for International Development

First and foremost, YCAID is a network devoted to the sharing of knowledge between all levels scholars in international development studies. This can take the form of members reading and editing papers, research proposals or grant applications, having a coffee with other members to give advice on international development studies and practice, be a mentor, etc.

Workshops every month so that young scholars can share their research projects and receive valuable feedback from colleagues (scholars, graduate and undergraduate)

YCAID first Colloquium at the end of 2015, on the topic of “International Development, from the bottom-up”.

Punctual conferences about topics on international development practice and scholarship (see past events)

YCAID can also put together and organize panels for Canadian, American or International Conferences, on various topics concerning international development.
