Brianna Scrimshaw Botchwey


Brianna Scrimshaw Botchwey is a PhD student at the University of Toronto in Political Science and Environmental Studies. She holds an MPhil in International Relations and Politics from the University of Cambridge where she completed a distinction-awarded dissertation: “Analysing China’s Riparian Relations in Mainland Southeast Asia” and a BA from the University of British Columbia in International Relations and Asian Language and Culture. Her research interests include water governance, environmental policy in least-developed countries, ENGO partnerships and the intersection of the local and international. She is a former Undergraduate Fellow at the Institute of Asian Research (UBC) and the current Secretary of UofT’s Graduate Environmental Students Association (GESA).
